Hello everyone,
I am trying to trace the family of George Thompson born in Kentucky about 1823. He married Mary Moore and the 1870 census has them living in Lawrence Co. Kentucky. The children living at home are
Johnson age 21
Minville 19
Cerilda 17
Eunice 15
Granville 13
James 10
Cynthia 8
Drusilla 7 (my grandmother)
If anyone has any information, thoughts or hunches I would very much enjoy hearing them.
My father said his mother Drucilla had bright red hair and that there was Cherokee in the family. I read with interest the posts about Richard Thompson of Ulster, No. Ireland and Elizabeth the Cherokee wife of Richard Thompson and see he died in Lawrence county, Kentucky.
I guess I need to either prove or disprove. Help please.
