I would love to know the page of that will on Isaiah Payne, I don't have the page number or volume.
Nancy Susannah Payne was the first wife of Joshua Thompson, SON of Joshua Thompson Sr., or as we always called him "Old Joshua" by his first wife. She died sometime before 1822. I know about her through work my mother did on this family back in the 1950's and she actually talked to a descendant who lived in Cherokee county Alabama who told her that this younger Joshua married "Nannie Susannah Payne" and they came to Alabama together with other Payne's. She died and he married Nancy Roden.
