Searching decendents of Robert Thompson (b. 1783 Ireland d.1858 Quyon Que.) married (1) Ann Jane Harrison (2) Mary? Beckett. Originally from Drumgor (now part of Craigavon) Seagoe Parish, Armagh, Ireland.
Children: Richard , Robert, William, Thomas (went to Owen Sound Ont.), Mathew (died as a child in Ireland), Mary Ann (married ? Craig), Elizabeth (Betsy - married ? McColgan), Helena (Lena - married Joseph Hammond and went from Ireland to Australia), Margaret and Susan (married ? Bronson in Canada).
Richard (b 1824) married Maria Gilpin and came to Canada on the Conqueror June 10, 1845. Settled in Quyon (Onslow Township) - Pontiac Co. Quebec. They had the following children: Mathew, Ann Jane, Robert, Margaret, William, Richard, Henry, Joseph, Thomas, Edward, John and James.
