Ed, Yes that is true. I have some notes written by their son Richard Wiggington Thompson. These are actually his own rough draft of the family genealogy that he was preparing for the Rev. H.E. Hayden. I also have an actual letter, sent to George Washington Lafayette Thompson in 1863. The wax seal is intact, because it had been opened with a letter opener. SOOOO, I have lots of info, but not all of it because these papers and photographs had been stored in my Grandmothers boxes since her father died in 1930 and some of is missing. My Grandmother was Lelia Marie Thompson Leggins, dau. of William Ambrose Thompson, son of Daniel, son of Moses. By the way, I had a music teacher named Broaddus. Lana
