Shirley, I am wondering about a possible connection of the Thompson's I am trying to locate and yours. In the 1860 census for Bradley County there is a family listed as Richard , Martha M. Thompson with 3 girls, Maree (Marce), Eliza Jane and Minerva (Manerva). There was a Seaborn that was a neighbor at that time. Also, next door to Richard was Irby And Polly Thompson (I think they might be related to Richard).
Eliza Jane came to Oklahoma and I believe there are some Seaborns in Southeast Oklahoma.Do you know where in Okla. Your Seaborn's went?
Have you ever heard of Martha M. Thompson? I do not know her Maiden name. In the 1870 Census for Rhea county she and the three girls are listed but no husband. believe he was killed either during the war or shortly after but was not killed as a result of fighting in the war.
