Dear Folks,
I'm looking for info on my great-great grandfather, Christopher Thomasson, born ca. 1810 and died 1867. Records show that he married Margaret (sp?) Runney and had three children in New Orleans: Mary Ellen in 1943, Joseph (my grandfather) in 1946, and Christopher in 1950. Family legend has it that he was from Denmark, was named Thomsen or something close, and came on a ship to the states as a stowaway. Any info that you could add would be most appreciated.
