Re: Connection to Hunter family from Alabama & Georgia ?

Looking for decendants of John G. & Opal N. Thomasson who may have researched the family history of Opal. In 1930, John and Opal were living with the William H. Mathews family in Littlefield, Texas (Lamb Co.). A son of John and Opal, Virgil R. Thomasson, was age 1 in the 1930 census.

Twelve people, all related to the head of family, were living in the Mathews home in 1930. My present research indicates that three of these (Lizzie M. Mathews, Nell L. Hines, & Opal N. Thomasson) may be connected to the John Thomas Hunter family from Alabama.

J. T. Hunter, his wife Mattie, and their 9 year old daughter, Lizzie M. Hunter, had moved from Alabama to Ellis Co. TX by 1900. By 1920 this Hunter family was in Wellington, TX (Collingsworth Co.). Daughters Nona B., Opal N., and Nell L. were in this Hunter family by 1920.

If this Hunter/Thomasson/Mathews connection holds true, I would like to correspond. I have additional Hunter family history to share.
