Elias' Father, John Thomasson, Sr. was born abt. 1753 in Louisa County, VA and died abt. 1840 in Laurel Springs, VA. His wife, Frances Cooke, was born abt. 1759, in VA and died in 1799, in Laurel Springs, VA. I'm not sure of the ordering of the children, as I have no specific dates for some, but this is the order in which I have them listed: Frances S. (no birth date, but she was married by 1809 - - I have her spouse and 5 children's names and dates but no further descendant info); Betsy Day, December 17, 1782; Nancy, abt. 1783 (have marriage info, but no children); Thomas Cook, July 30, 1784 (no other info); Jemima Day, March 3, 1787 (no other info); John Poindexter, January 31, 1788 (this was my forebear, so I have tons of info on his marriage, descendants, etc. which I can supply if you are the thorough type); Elias, aft. 1790 (I had nothing else on him, till you posted the marriage info. Do you have descendants? Is he your ancestor?); Lewis, aft. 1790 (no other info); Rebecca, aft. 1790 (no other info); and, Mordecai, abt. 1796 (married Mary Davis January 3, 1822). If you want the descendants for John Poindexter Thomasson and his wife, Nancy Hancock, you can send me an email and I'll send you the rest. Also, if you don't mind filling in my info for Elias, email would probably be better.
