Sharon,
So far I have not connected my John THOMA to anyone. I have his Immigration papers, and even a picture of him as an older man, but nothing solid to prove he had brothers or sisters who came to USA at any time before or after John.
He has been my "brick wall" for many years. He was a farmer, he married into the Rittenhouse/Smethers family and had 8 children. There HAS to be something that connects him to someone besides his children.
Your John Thoma...did he emigratd from Germany? If so, what year? Do you know where his parents were from?
I have a web page at
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~archive
Please take a look and see if anything is familiar to you.
Patty Thoma-Matthews
