I have an original Cabinet Card photograph of a family, taken in Independence (Buchanan Co.) IA in about 1894-5, which I would like to get back to family members. In the photo, parents look to be in about their 40s, and the girls about ages 17 & 10.
In the 1880 census for Coon Valley, Sac Co., IA, I found “Henry” and Augusta Thom, 28 & 24, with Adaline, age 2. In 1900 census, after Adeline married, daughter Fannie A., with YOB Feb 1884, and her husband, Henry Payton, lived with her parents in Sac Co.
