Looking for descendents of the Lucas/Thing families- Knox Co.In.-John Thing(potter?) m. Mary Jane Lucas(married as name Potter-1848 but later went by John Q.A.Thing - 1850, 1860 and 1870 census.) Mary Jane's sister Sarah married Robert Potter in 1854, but divorced. Robert Potter was living with John (1/2 bro.?)& Mary Jane Thing as well as Martha Lucas 18, Sarah Lucas 15 and Frank Lucas 10 in 1850. Martha m. Wm Bishop -Sarah m.Wm.Isgrig in 1858 (Clinton Co. In.) The Thing children were named Samuel, Ida and Edward and moved to near Sumner Illinois.
