Thiemann Family

Hello. As you can see from my name, I am a Thiemann.
Here is what I know about my family history. I am interested in finding anyone who may have pieces of my family history or may be related to me.
My great-grandfather was Otto Thiemann. It is my understanding that he was born in Germany and came to the U.S. as a child. Otto had 3 children: Fred, Karl Martin & a daughter who was adopted by Otto's brother.
Karl Martin Thiemann was my grandfather. He had 5 sons: Richard, Robert Kurt, David, William John, Douglas.
David died as an infant. Douglas passed away in the early 1990's having no children of his own.
Richard has the following children: Richard Jr. (Rick), Lisa, Sue.
Robert has the following children: Geneen & Robert Curt.
William John - my father - passed away in 1996. I am one of 4 children: William Jr., Christine, Rachel (me) & Sarah.

There was apparently some family conflict over the adoption of my grandfather's sister and so I do not know the name of Otto's brother who adopted her. Much of the family has split up and I and my cousins are left with many questions.
If anyone knows any information about my family, I would love to hear from you. There are a couple of other surnames that I know are somehow connected to my family. Those are: Angevine, Lamoureax, Penberthy, Fritz.
Feel free to e-mail me if you have any information: or

Rachel Thiemann
