Hi, Alisa. Your post indicated that Edwin was born in Wisconsin, but didn't indicate his whereabouts at the time of Margaret's birth in 1920. (I took a look at the 1920 and 1930 censuses and couldn't find Edwin, Ella or Margaret THIELE in Wisconsin; perhaps the household is indexed under a variant spelling.)

You indicated that Edwin was born in Plymouth, which is in Sheboygan county. The following birth record is off by 10 days and occurred in a different county, but matches name and initial. It may be of interest to you if you don't already have Edwin's birth documented:

Wisconsin Vital Records Indexes, Pre-1907 Birth Index, Marriages, and Death Indes.

Name: Edwin A Thiele
Birth Date: 30 Jul 1897
County: Saint Croix
Reel: 0280
Record: 001347

The Social Security Death Index indicates that Edwin Thiele born July 20 1897 died in Milwaukee in 1975:

EDWIN THIELE
born 20 Jul 1897
died Aug 1975 Milwaukee, Milwaukee, WI
SSN 398-07-4280 issued in WI

I'm not certain whether you're hoping to find information from 1920 forward to the present, or backward from Edwin's 1897 birth (are you hoping to discover his parents' names, etc.?).
