Hi,

Jean Baptiste's parents were married in Grand-Pre in 1755 just before the deportation. Nothing said they were deported. Some moved north by foot and boat before the English arrived. There children were probably born on there way to Quebec probably in Ekoupag (now Maugerville, New Brunswick, North east of Fredericton)some staying in Madawaska, Gaspesie, Temiscouata and Kamouraska.

Jean Baptiste married Marie Anne Angelique Savoie in Carleton, Bonaveture county, Gaspesie. Some of there children were born in Caraquet but they were all married in St-Basile, Madawaska and settled there.
