Once again, many thanks for your really prompt reply to my acknowledgement of your post re the etymology of the name Thibodeaux.
After reading your post, and thinking about additional etymological information, I decided I can do a Web search for the etymology of German names, in the hopes that another conscientious reader like yourself, may find my post.
I also really appreciated your sharing with me the story of the source of your knowledge of Thibodeaux - both the article and about your grand-dad :)
