Dear Claudia,
Thank you for your response. My Eli is my great grandfather also. This Eli died on 4/23/1929 and married Mattine McCarron in Fort Fairfield, ME on 11/16/1878. I have documentation on those dates. I don't have an actual birthdate, but was told by the Caribou Town Office how many years, months, days old at time of death, but no parents listed. According to the years, months, days, etc. he would have been born on 11/25/1852. I'm finding that actual dates back then were sketchy at best. I believe he was only married once, but then again, not sure. I did locate a copy of the Madawaska Reunion Book. I contacted Cecile Thibodeau St. Jarre, husband's name is Guy, and she did find a copy and sent it to me. I believe she said she had one more copy. I would be very interested to see if it's the same Eli. Who do you have as Eli's parents/siblings? I also have lots of info on the Maine branch of the Thibodeau Family that I would be more than happy to share. Thanks again for your reply.
