Wonderful that you replied. Thank you so much. I have only one Giggey relative left that my family is in contact with, Sister Mary Mathews (Sidney Giggey if I'm correct, I've always called her Sister Sid. I will let you know her correct name) who grew up in the Ft Fairfield area. She has been the one wealth of information for me on my father's side of the family.
I would love to know what you have on the Giggeys and Churchills. There may be a few holes I can fill for you as well. I haven't had much success on tracking info down yet, so I would hope some information from you might get this rolling for me.
My father passed away in 1995 at the age of 87. Both of his brothers preceded him. He went into the service in 1928 and moved from Conn. My uncle Winston lived in Bristol most of his life, had 13 children, many of whom are remained in that area.
We are the only west coasters I know of from the immediate family. My mother Carolyn and I live here in the Monterey CA area, and my brother Allen and his family are in Arcata CA.
I would appreciate any information you could send along. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
