My great grandmother, Sadie Nellis, was adopted by William Nellis and his wife Rose Thibeau Nellis. What I have on Rose is date of birth 13 Oct 1867 in Little Chute, Wisconsin, and that her father's name is Marcel (or Marcellus) Thibeau from Sorel, Quebec, and mother's name is Marie Margaret LeMay of Wisconsin. I need information on this family, and in particular anything I can learn about Rose's marriage to William Nellis of Luxembourg - how and when they met, when and where they were married, and so forth.
My grandma, Lorraine Cooper MacArthur, said that her mom always had good things to say about William and Rose - they were kind and good to her.
