The Emmanuel you are researching is in fact the son of Jesse who was a shipbuilder born in France likely around
1780. Wife unknown.
Your Emmanuel was born 24 Oct 1810 in Trois Rivieres as you stated. He died 25 Dec 1890 in Benton Harbor MI.
He and Rosalie Donner b. 8 Oct 1830 in Montreal, were married in NY 10 Nov 1843.
They had 13 children. I have more info on them if you are interested.
The Charles Emmanuel you reference I conclude is no relation whatsover to the above Emmanuel. I have details on the children of Hyacinthe and Marg. Marcoulier too, but I have no info on Francois-Xavier. Could you share that?
I have no evidence that any of Hyacinthe's & Marg. children nor of Louis, father of Hyacinthe, ever migrated to Michigan. Louis was born 1730 in Port Royal Nova Scotia
