Hi David
The ship John THEW and Mary REAY arrived to Australia on was the Ship Australia owned by the Australian Agricultural Company (still trading). They used the ship to bring out employes equiptment and stock ect. Johns ship was carrying families tools and equiptment all for AA.Co. About Rylstone I know very little but I assume our family followed the Slapp family (inlaws)to the area who were orchadists and who after starting out in Burwood (Sydneys orchard belt)moved to Rylstone and established there. Sending there produce to Sydney by rail. There was a horse drawn rail line from Rylstone to ? that was the first part of the trip.
Alan Thew.
