Louise,
Your Albert THERIOT was apparently born during the dislocations of the Civil War, and is the only one of the 8 children of (Joseph) Simeon & Olympe DUPUIS who seems not to have a baptismal record. His older sister was born 24 Oct 1863, and baptized at St. Joseph's Church in Pierre Part, LA (SJO-PP-1, 41), one of the first records there. His younger brother was born 6 Nov 1871 and baptized at St. Nicholas Church in Lydia (formerly called Patoutville), LA (Lydia Ch: v.2, p. 51), which was only established in 1868.
My guess is you'll not find a record, as the family seemed to be on the move during this period. He may have been baptized privately at home (ondoyé), and no record made that lasted.
Good luck.
