Hi all, I am having a tough time finding records of my grandfather (Robert Bruce Therriault) and great grandfather (David Therriault). Cook County's (Chicago, IL) online records are sparse for the years I need. My grandfather ROBERT BRUCE was born in Chicago 25 Dec 1896, died Jan 1968 West Frankfort, Franklin, Illinois. My father thinks Robert Bruce may have been a name change.
I found a 1910 census that appears to be this family, but Robert may be listed as Bruce (transcribed as Benie).
Robert's parents are theoretically DAVID THERRIAULT (Canada, 1865-) and ELIZABETH DONNELY (Canada, 1868-). They supposedly immigrated in 1870.
Robert's siblings were:
Elizabeth
Alfred
Blanche
William David
James Joseph
David
Arthur J
I have a lot of info on a few siblings, but can't seem to find many records of those who lived in Chicago. My father never knew his grandfather. He does know that David was married more than once.
