Can anyone help with tracing my family please? My grandfather's name was either Marjorique Louis or Louis Marjorique Ther(r)iault, possibly born around 1852. Family letters show connections with Levis and Rimouski in Quebec Province, Canada and also, that he was generally called "Louis". He also had an aunt whose married name was something like "Rivort" or "Rivard" - the writing is very hard to decipher! Two other family connections appear to be an "Alphonse" and an "Adolphe". He was a merchant seaman.
