I haven't any clues yet in my search for the birth or baptism of John Tibbles circa 1749, so when next in the UK I might just have a look at Mountnessing PRs for him. I do know that he is not to be found in Chelmsford, Springfield or Moulsham PRs.
Should you come across a John Tibbles (or any variant) circa 1749 I would be grateful for the advice.
Just had a look in my "Spares" database to see if I had come across a James Theobald c 1795 but no luck, the nearest being James Theobald bap 10 Jun 1787, the son of Samuel & Elizabeth.
