My GGrandmother was born in Jamaica. Her eldest sister Amelia Thelwell Gregory was born there too in 1812. I've not been able to find out the reason for her middle name being Thelwell. Her parents were Mary Biddulph Grose and Robert Lindsay Milligan Gregory. I suspect that there is a family connection to Thelwell - any ideas?
