Dennis Thelen, 78, of Erwin, Unicoi Co TN, passed away on
Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at the Johnson City Medical
Center, Johnson City, Washington Co TN.

Born September 28, 1933, he was a native of Kansas City,
Missouri, and resided in Erwin, TN, since 1977.

Dennis was the son of the late William and Delores
McGillicutty Thelen. He was a self employed heat and air
technician, and enjoyed attending ball games to watch his
grandchildren play basketball and baseball.

Mr. Thelen leaves behind his wife, Sue Webb Thelen, of
Erwin, TN; son, Brad Thelen and wife Chemene, of Erwin,
TN; daughter, Dea Bevins and husband Rob, of Johnson City,
TN; grandsons, Zach and Ty Thelen, Chance Hughes, and
Ethan Lyle.

Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday,
February 4, 2012, from 6 p.m. until service time at Valley
Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Dennis will be held on Saturday,
February 4, 2012, at 8 p.m., in the Chapel of Valley
Funeral Home. Reverend Kenneth Grindstaff will officiate.

The family will attend a private graveside service.
