I answer queries for the Thayer Families Association and assist the Historian, Patricia Thayer Muno. Here, in brief, is the lineage we have for Henry H. Thayer:
1. Henry H. Thayer b. ca 1804 Petersburg VA married 28 Feb 1828 Petersburg, Nancy Ann Belcher (1810-1859)
2. Sceva Thayer (1772-1826) married Mary V. Follett (ca 1785-1862)
3. Josiah Thayer (1752-1814) married Avis Hayward (1752-1795)
4. Josaih Thayer (1713-after 1785) married Mary Veazey (1720-1760)
5. Nathaniel Thayer (ca 1681-1752) married Relief Hyde (1682-1740)
6. Nathaniel Thayer (1658-1728) married Hannah Hayden (1661-1743)
7. Richard Thayer (1625-1695) married Dorothy Pray (ca 1634-1705)
8. Richard Thayer (1601-1664) married Dorothy Mortimer (1603-1641)

This last Richard brought his family to Massachusetts after the death of his wife in England in 1641 and settled near his brother Thomas in what is now Braintree MA. If you would like to exchange more detailed information I would be glad to do that. I do not have the cemetery information for Henry H. Thayer, nor did I have any information on a daughter Elenora. Which of the children of Henry & Nancy Ann is your ancestor. or
