Lydia Thayer/Lewis Cowles of Belchertown, MA

Trying to find info on the above couple who lived and died in Belchertown MA. Have tracked Lydia's parents as Elijah and Hannah (Huntley) Thayer. Lydia was born 3 July 1778. I cannot find anything that shows Elijah's parentage except one obscure note that shows Noah, but cannot prove that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Seems Elijah might have come from Mendon.
