George Thayer b. 1807 Mass. Settled in New York in 1844. His wife was Phebe L. Wood, b.1813 Onondaga Co., NY. They were married in 1837 and she died in 1873. Three children:
1.Samuel Thayer b. 1838
2.Elizabeth Thayer b. 1842
3.George W. Thayer b. 1848
