DEATH SUMMONS MRS. THAUREN, 64;
SERVICE MONDAY
Mrs. Margaret M. Thauren, 64, died at 3:25 p.m. Thursday at Hershey hospital following an illness of about two weeks. Her home was at 832 Pine street.

She was born in Muscatine on Nov. 25, 1883, the daughter of John and Mary Garrett O`Melia, and had spent all her life here. She was married to Frank H. Thauren on Feb. 19, 1908, at St. Matthias church. Mrs. Thauren was a member of St. Matthias church and the Rosary society of the church.

Surviving are a son, Frank Thauren, Muscatine; three daughters, Mrs. Mary E. Bunce, Maywood, Ill., and Mrs. Gertrude Olson and Mrs. Margaret George, both of Muscatine; two brothers, Robert and William J. Omelia, both of Atalissa; two grandchildren, Carma Rose Thauren and John Bernard George, of this city.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband in 1937, one son John, who was killed in Germany in 1943; and one brother.

The body is at the Riley Funeral home where it will remain until services which will be held at St. Matthias church at 9 a.m. Monday by Rt. Rev. Monsr. W. L. Hannon. Interment will be in St. Mary`s cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at the Riley chapel at 7 p.m. Sunday.
