* Birth order: third child born to Mary Babcock and Simeon Maxson
* Siblings: All brothers: Nathan, Nathan Simeon, Joseph, Mosher, George, and James. No sisters.

* Born: 1768, in Shrewsbury, Monmouth, New Jersey
* Died: October 8, 1822[Taylor], Harrison County, West Virginia, at age 54 years
* Died: : 2 FEB 1825, in Greene Co, OH
* Buried:?
* Marriage date: age 23 years Thomas marries on 7 December 1791, in Harrison County, West Virginia. This marriage will last 30 years.

* Spouse: Mary DAVIS, daughter of pioneer to Salem WV, William DAVIS and his wife Jean or Jane - - -?William lived in Monongalia County which became Harrison County and is listed on the SDBaptist theables 1782, listed there in 1785. This is before the group migration of 1789, and later migrations of 1792.

* Children of Mary Davis and Thomas MAXSON:

i. William Maxson b: 26 FEB 1789 in NJ, he married Rebecca LOOFBORROW, 14 November 1823
ii. Timothy b: 1796 in Lewis County, WV
iii. Jane Maxson, b: 13 AUG 1812 in Harrison County, VA

Note: This Family is in the 1789 Migration as it is listed in the church from New Jersey to Salem, West Virginia. Census Data: Early Census Of Harrison County, And In Harrison County Marriage Records. Religion: Seventh Day Baptist. He married Mary Babcock 1763 in Shrewsbury, Monmouth, New Jersey, daughter of Thomas Babcock and Ruth Maxson. His KERRICH line is: Simeon12 Maxson (Bethia11, Judith10 Clarke, Joseph9, Joseph8, Rose7 Kerrich, William6, Robert5, William4, William3, William2, Kerrich1)

* Mother: Mary Babcock, born 1743, Note; (daughter of Thomas Babcock and first wife Ruth Maxson)
* Religion: Seventh Day Baptist
