1873 letter from Dodsons to Lanes

A letter written in 1873 from Joel and Elvira Dodson in Tallapoosa Co, AL, to James and Matilda Lane in Bosque Co, TX, was recently found, scanned, transcribed and posted online. The letter is a genealogical treasure, discussing kinfolk in GA, AL, AR and TX. It mentions or alludes to the following families:
