Tarney, I'm sorry but there are no references in Lewis Thames book to other Louisiana Thames names, including Mary Thames Carr. I'm sure you already have found a Vincent Carr on the 1810 Louisiana Territorial census and also listed as a War of 1812 soldier from Louisiana, this being from Ancestry.com to which you obviously are a subscriber.It's interesting, though, to note the passport you mentioned is dated just a month after Cornelius Thames' passport was issued. I'm sorry I can't help but do wish you luck in your search!... Have you seen the new Thames-Tims.org site? Helen
