This is believed to be the correct and complete list of the children born to the Reverend David Thames. They are shown listed under their mother’s name. Only Hannah and Dolly bore children. Nancy was childless. The Reverend David Thames was the oldest child of the Reverend William Thames who was born 1759, died January 10, 1813 and wife Lucy (unknown) born about 1759, died 1812. This list was made from Family Bible Records, Estate Papers and Census Records. This list matches the Cumberland Co. Census records of 1800, 1810, 1820, 1830 and 1840. The Reverend David Thames fathered no children before Mary who is the only child shown on the 1800 census. He was probably only nineteen when she was born.
