Yes, I think so. James Thake was born in 1858, the son of James Thake and Sarah Eliza Hardcastle. He was the eldest child of the marriage, the others being:
Elizabeth b1860
Mary Ann b1862
Rebecca Jane b 1864
Sarah Eliza b186
Maria Sarah b1868
John Alexander b1872
William Henry

James Thake was a descendant of John Thake of Clavering who died in 1568!
