Grand, I wish! No, my dad was a bakers roundsman and worked in a rubber factory in Chingford (making condoms) and worked for his dad (my grandad as a chimney sweep).
I've done ok, I suppose but I've worked for it, my old man was a gambler and boozer, that's were his money went (what there was of it!)
No, I just figured that there must be a Thake coat of arms but I suppose we share it with the Thaker clan, they recon that we are a break off from them!
