Hi everyone, I'm seeking information about my biological family. If I interpret the facts correctly, I was rescued by a Catholic orphanage in Udon Thani as a baby which was resurrected by a clergyman working for the US forces in Udon Thani. However, no records of this orphanage seems to excist. So I don't know the name! Searching is made difficult as I can't read or write the Thai language. I'm looking for relatives. I have little hope of my parents surviving, as my mother was already 44 years old when she conceived me. But it is probable there are other brothers and sisters. I was the 13th infant of this poor family. These are the only few facts from the birth certificate which I have: I was born on the 11th November 1973 My Thai name is: Yingrak Viengchai Mother's name: Ngoan Phanomkhao (but this is a translation and I get the feeling Phanomkhao is referring to a district instead of a surname) Father's name: Buali Viengchai (translation) Place of birth: Tambon Naphu (or "Na Phu"? according to Wikipedia) Address: House nr. 15, Commune 4, Tambon Naphu, Amphoe Phen, Changwat Udon Thani I was adopted by a Dutch family on the 28th of November 1974 (but the adoption paper was drawn on the 6th of December 1974) I know it's not much to go by, but it is all I have. In the best case scenario, I hope to be reunited with some family members... Thank you very much for your time and taking the trouble to read this post. Kind regards, Yingrak Notify Administrator about this message?
