Quaker Records in Louisa Co., Va.
Has anyone checked the Quaker Records in Louisa Co., Va.?
The Cedar Creek Meeting was on the border of Louisa and
Hanover County. The South Fork Meeting was near the
the Louisa and Goochland County lines. The Quakers kept
their own birth, death, and marriage records, and the
certificates when a person or family moved to another
area. The Encyl. of American Quakers by Wm Hinshaw, Vol 6,
Virginia, is a good source and these volumes can be found
in the large libraries across this nation.
