OK i am going to try to explain what i am hunting for.My Great Great Grand Mother was a Thacker.Her name was Nancy born in Va.Sept.1837.She married a man by the name of Samuel Slater.Now here's the tricky part,following the census,1860 they lived in Gardenersville Ky. 1870 They lived in Scott Co. Indiana.1880 they live in Brown Co. Indiana. 1900 i find her by herself in Greene Co. Tn. In this same Co. was James H.W. Thacker and i would presume his 2 sons.I decided to look for her and James in the 1850 census,to which i found them as children of David Thacker.Does anyone have any information on Nancy or this family? I am not for sure if this is the same Nancy,but it is to much of a coincidence with her being in Tn along with James who looking at the census lived just over the hill.Birth dates match on both her and James.
