My brother, whose surname is Robertson, has tested for Ydna and he has a haplotype of R1b1. If any male Tevis has been tested, and would be generous enough to share their haplotype, it would be helpful and appreciated.
Since most Tevis in the USA are descended from a common paternal ancestor, it would be interesting to see how we are all related.
My direct Tevis ancestor was Susannah Tevis, daughter of Nathaniel Tevis and Ann Bennett. Susannah Tevis was the spouse of John Wheeler and they were the parents of Nancy Wheeler who married James Robertson, and became my gggrandparents.
