Philip Doggett's wife was Mattie T.(Tevis) Martin, daughter of John S. Martin & Mary Elizabeth Tevis. The 1880 Cesus shows Mattie's brother Philip & sister Annie living with them. (Parents John died in 1869 & Mary died in 1874) Mattie had two other brothers living in the area-Augustus Martin 23, living with the McCormick family & Hazelton Wiggins Martin 29, living with his wife Sarah & son Philip.
