This is what I have on the Tevis' though there is more in our Jeff. Co. library supposedly done by a woman who was a Tevis and died several years ago.I need to make a copy.I don't know what her sources were.I don't have a lot of birth and death dates, but can get some of them from library and my mother. All of Sallie's children married and died in Indiana except for Sallie who died in Carrollton, Ky.I don't know maiden names of their wives, but can probably get this.I had forgotten that Graham was the younest, the twins were next to youngest. Yes, John is a son of Christine. He just died about one year ago.I only had Melancthon, Julia, Lillie, and Harry listed as children of Robert (1835-1908) and Christie Cotton (1840-1895). I don't know much about them.I'm fairly sure that Allie was actually named Alice.Alice's father was Ebenezer Gray. Her sibs were Molly (or Mary something), Lida, Serelda (called Rell), and a boy (maybe that was Ira).I know that Molly married an Imel.I think that Anna Gray, child of Calvin Gray, must have been Melancthon's (my great-grandfather's) first wife and they had a son Byron.
As far as children of Benjamin and Mary Brooks, I don't have Tillotson.I have an America born in 1841 and dying in 1884 and a Loftus born in 1853.I think I got this from the census, but it is really hard to read sometimes. I have all of the others that you have listed.I have a note that Benjamin (b.1806 or 1810) was a minister.I know that there was a Dr. Robert Tevis practicing here in Madison during the 1930's and 40's, but I haven't connected him with the rest of the family yet.
