In 1845, Gallatin, Sumner Co., KY, Lucian J. HARRIS named three children of his deceased sister Eliz. TEVIS. Joseph TEVIS & Elizabeth had {apparently in addition to Robert and Mary}
Nancy O. (27 Je. 1830 - 10/12? Nov. 1894, Fayette Co., KY) m. 23 D 1845, Madison Co., KY [2:20], Wm. E. WILKERSON.
James (2 Mar. 1837, Madison Co. - 9 Mar. 1895 [Climax, Richmond, KY]), m. 20 Oct. 1858, Madison Co., Mary C. RUSSELL. James stayed in Madison Co. & was a judge of police court and clerk of the circuit court.

I do not have anything on cause of death. It was probably diphtheria, typhoid, or one of those diseases that used to be so deadly. Have you looked for a newspaper story?
