Good news! I found YOUR Michael Tetherow!
Michael Tetherow only son of Johan Jacob Dotterer and (mother's name unknown) was born January 1, 1762. He was married to Rachel Keever (b. abt 1766 in PA). They had one daughter Catherine Tetherow b. June 22, 1792. She married James Howe (b. January 14, 1789 in Fairfax, Augusta VA). They had 12 children:

Michael Therow Howe b. December 21, 1814 in Clinton OH
Mary Howe b. April 16, 1870 in Clinton OH

Johan Jacob Dotterer was born July 4, 1737 in Frederick Twp, Montgomery PA. He was the only son of Michael Dotterer and Anna Maria Fisher, birthdates unknown. Michael Dotterer was the son of George Phillip Dotterer and (mother's name unknown), birthdates unknown.
Michael Tetherow died abt. 1814 in OH
Rachel Keever was the first born daughter of Martin H Keever (b. 1727 in Frederick MD) and Catherine Christena Schwister (b. 1737 in PA). She had one sister, Christina Keever, and 6 brothers, Martin, Peter, Henry, John, Adam & George Keever.
