Sue, I don't research either TETER or HENCKEL, really---I am trying to assemble the list of people who accompanied my ancestor Reverend David Badgley from Hardy CO VA to Illinois in 1797. I have Rebecca (Henckel) Teter, widow of Captain Paul Teter, along with members of her family---I have posted their names on GenForum. Rebecca and her granddaughter Abigail Teter (age 7) died in the epidemic that greeted the travelers when they arrived at New Design on July 4, 1797.
