There is a book called "Bright Cousins" by Kensel Stephens and in this book is a section on the Teter Family starting with George Teter(born Deiter) June 7 1699 born in Germany and while still in Germany married Maria Margarethis Luttman. They arrived in the New World on the Ship Molly on Sept. 30, 1727. It appears that they stayed in Pennsylvania until about 1750 and then moved to North Carolina. In 1760 they moved to Orange County where they died. Orange County at that time encompassed most of the present virginia and most of the northern half of what is now west virginia,
