Ok Dee.
Theres some items that i left out which becAuse there so many documents to explain which could amount to volumes. i agree the Teter Teeter Tedder Teeters boards have become very dormant since 2000..
i can show some notes in regards to the harris family espeicially John Harris who was the father of Timothy Harris.
Below is a portion of the Will of William Van Cleave. It indicates that his daughter Phebe was a Harris by marriage and notes a disbursement to John Harris. It shows a disbusresment to George Teater Jr his son inlaw who married Mary Vancleave.
George Teater Jr had a 2nd marraige to a famous well documented Melungeon Saponi Indian woman Polly Riddle from Moses Riddle Virginia NC and Garrard Ky. Almost all Melungeons of Newman Ridge Blackwater Tn- East Ky and Wise Virginia claima a descent from Polly Riddles family. Many more Teaters of Kentucky carry the Melungeon Gene. All those
who intermarried with the Burtons, Sarah Gibson was mother to all the Madison Ky Burtons. Elizabeth Bolen was mother to all the Devil Bob Burton clan Teaters. Sarah Bolen mother to all the Land Sanders and Teaters clan. David Collins and Patsy Burton. Meredith Collins and his grandsons John Collins Meredy Collins and Teaters.. In addition Daniel Ray and Bakers Bollens many more part Melungeon bloodlines run deep in the Teaters of Kentucky.
Another branch were the John Santee a Croatan Indian from Bladen NC Indian Jack Preavitt Martha Craft the mother of James Land, Martha Santee -Colliers. The Spanish Gonzalvas mother of the Tottens.. many Saponi and Melungeons also claim to be from the Harris lines of SC and NC as well..
Going thru some of the Kentucky Teater files there are plenty Teater Harris connections. Samuel Teater and Elizabeth Ray also had a daughter Mary Polly Harris. Lewis Craig Teater Samuel Teater Robert Teater and George Teater Jr all went to Mo. Only Parris Teater and William Teater remained back in Kentucky. Saline Mo has dozens of Teaters most from these brothers so its job to decipher all of it.
back to subject below also James Thompson this name is also noted 3 times with George Teater in battle of Point Pleasnat. A John Harris was in Albemarle Va and moved along with the Maupins Agges Rays Alversons Allegrees Mcqueeens Mcquerys to Madison and Garrard Ky. If you read thru the Edminston file the same Thmpsons are mentioned many times with the Heards who were the wife of John Harris parents of Timothy Harris. Im not sure if the Heards were Albemarle Caroline ect. Most or al the Maupins came from the Hearnts line.

John, Ebenezer & William likewise three hundred acres purchased from Evan
Hinton by virtue of a Bond given by him E Hinton likewise two hundred and
fifty acres purchased from Squire Boone during his residence in Carolina he
giving lawful bond for the same. all the above mentioned land for them
above mentioned and their Heirs forever.---
Item -- I Give and bequeath unto my beloved son Jonathan two thirds of five
hundred acres of Land which falls to him by the death of his sister Sara
Deceased being her own by a gift and now to be his & his Heirs forever Also
I give and bequeath unto my son Jonathan one black Cow with a white face
marked with a crop in the right Ear and an underbit in the Same ear and a
slit in the oH ear and one Coat to be his -- Item -- I give and bequeath
unto my Daughter Phebe Harris not heretofore mentioned in my Will two
Hundred acres of Land lying in Jefferson County due to me from Squire Boone
by virtue of a warrent that the sd. Boone laid for me. I likewise give and
Bequeath unto my wife Abigail the full possession of all my personal Estate
Book Debts Bonds &c. I likewise appoint my well beloved Friend William Crow
and my beloved Wife Abigail my Lawful Executors & aand this to be my last
Will and Testament as witness my hand this Second Day of September in the
year of our lord one thousand seven hundred and Eight Six Sealed and
Delivered in presence of us Interlined before signed
