I agree, this is back where I started from. I know there was both a Jacob & Peter Teter of 1790 Washington Co., MD who had sons b. same time frame as Jacob. b. 1780/83.

Jacob had 2 sons < 16 (b. 1774-1790)
Peter had 4 sons <16 (b. 1774-1790)

In 1800 Washington Co., MD
Jacob Teater has a son 16-26 (1774-1784; likely b. 1780-1784 since he is still at home.) I wonder who & where the other son of 1790 is?

A Philip Teater has a son 16-26 in 1800 Washington Co., MD.
