I am not too good at French, so I am not sure what kind of list you are wanting, but now that I have a potential French connection, I was curious about my wife's Grandfather, who was reportedly born in the vicinity of Marsailles, 13 February 1856. His tombstone near Kosciusko, Mississippi says his name was Marshall Teston, but the story is that he was originally named or baptised Marcel Teston. He emigrated to the U.S. as a young boy, and locals had difficulty pronouncing Marcel (why?). Could you direct me to a genealogical database with birth records from this part of France? Or better yet, tell me if you can access such records?
