Searching for Tessman Ancestors

Hi my grandmother was Antonia Roselena Tessman she came to New York when she was 8 years old (1881 approx) She came on a ship with her father Karl Tessman and 3 siblings Uncle Marx, Uncle Richard and Aunt Elsie. The mother was a Dietrich and she had died in Germany before they sailed. I also think 4 children may have been left in Germany with relatives. I also think many Dietrich relatives came with them, they travelled across the United States to the state of Washington and settled all along the pacific coast, Idaho and into Canada, British Columbia and Alberta. My grandmother came from a place called Schievelbein,Germany.
Hope someone has info Barb
